Grand central, movies books, television series ive seen it everywhere. But it was that clock that caught my eye- the. Encroaching fence that keeps the mayhem, chaos and life of new york together. Time, punctuality and accuracy are like the shoulder tattoos of new york yet no matter how old, young, rich, poor or hungry anyone is they all share the trait of being on time. Now I mean there’s no lack of culture in New York but it seems crazy to me that everyone can actually just agree on one thing together. Instead of fighting against the one thing we cant change, make the most out of it. this clock and this picture represents the one thing that everyone can agree and see eye to eye for it’s time, the one thing we can never get enough of and one of the two things we cant change- time and death. That’s why i think this image is so powerful, the most recognisable symbol in the world. And the heart of the world.
